This vintage True Temper Kelly Works Flint Edge Pulaski has been fully restored and carefully reconditioned to honor the original craftsmanship of its maker. The head has been honed to a fine working edge while preserving the distinctive Kelly Works / True Temper stamp, which remains fairly visible on the steel. The "Flint" and "Kelly" were somewhat worn away before the restoration process and I maintained what remained of the mark.
Kelly Works—widely associated with True Temper production—earned its reputation by turning out hard-working tools built for real use. The Flint Edge marking is a classic nod to durable steel and field-ready performance, and the Pulaski pattern itself is a legendary do-it-all design: axe edge for chopping and limbing, and an adze-style blade for digging, trenching, and grubbing. It’s a tool with deep roots in forestry and wildland work—built to be maintained, relied on, and passed down.
The handle has been custom-finished and sealed for long-term protection, grip, and natural luster. With a 29.5” overall length and a substantial 3 lb 7 oz head, this Pulaski carries confident swing momentum while still staying controllable—ideal for trail work, camp building, property cleanup, and anyone who appreciates a purpose-built, heavy-duty hand tool.
Each restoration includes a handmade, full-grain leather edge cover crafted by @dryflyleathergoods—a rugged, timeless complement to the restored steel.
A functional heirloom for collectors, outdoorsmen, trail builders, and anyone who values a well-made tool with history and character.
