Padrino Return & Refund Policy

We take pride in every tool and restoration project that leaves our shop. Each axe, knife, or sharpening service is handled with care, precision, and attention to detail. Because many of our products and services are custom-restored or hand-finished, we have a return policy that balances fairness to our customers with protection for the integrity of our craft.
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be in the same condition you received it in — unused, unsharpened (for tools), with tags or protective covers intact.
- Include all original packaging and accessories (if applicable).
- Include a receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns must first be approved before being shipped. Any item sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Once a return is approved, mailing address will be provided.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a prepaid return label and instructions on how to send your package.
Non-Returnable Items
Because of the nature of our work, the following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom restorations or modifications (including handle replacements, regrinds, etching, or refinishing).
- Sharpening services or labor-based work performed on customer-owned tools.
- Gift cards and sale items.
- Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage after delivery.
If you’re unsure whether your order qualifies, reach out to us before shipping your return.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt and contact us within 7 days if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. We’ll review the issue and, if appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, or refund.
For hand-restored tools: please note that minor imperfections, tool marks, and patina are part of the restoration process and not considered defects.
Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return your current item (once approved) and place a new order for the replacement.
Service Work Guarantee
For sharpening and restoration services, we stand by our craftsmanship. If you’re unsatisfied due to a workmanship issue (not normal wear or misuse), contact us within 14 days of receiving your item, and we’ll evaluate it for repair or partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or denial. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the transaction.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
